The Process

1. Goal - Where are we heading? What results are we to achieve? How do we perform and what behaviors are required in order to reach our goals?

2. Current state - Where are we now in relation to our desired state?

3. Direction - The gap between what we want to achieve and where we are becomes our “map”. This is what we refer to when we plan and steer, and continually monitor and evaluate progress. All efforts should point in the same direction - at company level, departmental level and individual level.

4. Execution - From words to deeds! The most important step of all! Here the focus is on decision-making and action, involvement and accountability on an everyday level. It is also a matter of feedback and renewal, always checking that we are on the right course and acting accordingly.

5. Evaluation - How well have we succeeded? Here we evaluate performance in terms of results and goals achieved.

6. Durability - How do we ensure sustainability? This step is about assuring the process so that the changes we have made - both in structure and behavior - continue and develop.

The Method Our work to improve performance includes the following:
